ENVIRON occasionally posts updates for certain widely-used programs when necessary, but does not actively support or maintain every one. Users can e-mail questions, comments, suggestions or improvements to CAMx.

All of the files on this server were created using the Unix tar command. In all cases the tar file is compressed to save space. To unpack the contents use the command:

tar xzvf file.tar.gz

Archive of AVGDIF program. Use to compare two UAM-IV format files and print a table of differences. Useful for checking differences between CAMx runs on different machines for the test case. See the file sample.job in the archive for usage.

Archive of CMAQ2CAMx interface program that converts CMAQ emissions and IC/BC to CAMx formats. Updated in April 2008 to include species mapping for CB05 and updated SOA chemistry. Archive of KVPATCH program. Applies minimum Kv values to layers below a user-defined height based on input landuse fields and maximum Kv within that depth. See source code comments for details. Updated 27 October 2010 to handle the 26 category CAMx landuse file option, but continues to be able to read the older landuse file format.

Archive of the METPAVE program. Extracts CAMx gridded winds, temperature, water vapor, cloud/rain, or Kv to a UAM-type concentration file suitable for viewing in PAVE. Updated 27 October 2010 to handle CAMx v5.30 cloud/rain file format. Use for CAMx v4.3x and later.

 Archive of the METSTAT system, which provides the ability to generate time series and statistical MM5/WRF model performance for winds, temperature, and humidity. See README for usage. Updated 26 October 2009 to add capability to process WRF output and to improve overall robustness of the program.

Archive of biogenic emissions converter to generate emissions for additional species needed by the updated CAMx SOA module (v4.50 and later). Reads in an existing biogenic emissions file and generates emissions for new species by scaling from existing species.
